  • User Content: Photos, videos, audio, text, and metadata regarding physical inventory items you upload or allow our Operators to capture.
  • Identity Data: Name, email, phone number, address, and profile details.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device ID (UUID), browser type, operating system (Windows/Android/Web), and app crash logs.
  • Geo-Location: Precise location data from the "Van App" and web platform to coordinate logistics and verify service areas.
  • Financial Data: Payment history and transaction details (processed via secure third-party processors).

3. How We Use Your Information (The "Broad Use" Clause)

We use your information for various business purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Service Operation: To digitize inventory, generate labels, and manage logistics.
  • AI Training & Research: We use your User Content (specifically images and item descriptions) to train, validate, and improve our Artificial Intelligence models (including our Triage and Research Agents). By using the Service, you acknowledge that your content helps improve our machine learning capabilities.
  • Commercialization of Data: We may aggregate, anonymize, and de-identify data to analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and inventory flows. We reserve the right to sell, license, or share this aggregated data with third parties for any commercial purpose.
  • Marketing & Communications: To send you updates, security alerts, and marketing materials.
  • Product Development: To create new features, services, or algorithms based on user behavior and data trends.

4. Intellectual Property & Content License

While you retain ownership of your physical items, by uploading photos or data to PackAndList (or allowing an Operator to do so), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such Content in connection with operating, providing, and promoting the Services and for our internal business purposes, including machine learning and algorithm training.

5. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Google Cloud), AI providers (Google Gemini), and authentication services (Firebase) necessary to run the app.
  • Affiliates & Partners: Third parties with whom we collaborate for integrations (e.g., eBay, Etsy export tools).
  • Business Transfers: If PackAndList is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your user data may be transferred as a business asset.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of PackAndList or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data and User Content for as long as necessary to provide our Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining historical records, legal compliance, and AI model retention.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Our Platform allows you to export data to third-party services (e.g., eBay, Etsy). Once data leaves our system, it is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for how they handle your data.
